The Lord Passed Every Test
Having therefore a great High Priest, who has passed through the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.
For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the
feeling of our weaknesses; but One Who has been tried in all respects
like us, yet without sin. Let us therefore come forward with boldness
to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for
timely help.
(Hebrews 4:14-16)

Verse 1
Adam and Eve created in God's image
To be a vessel filled with God alone.
But then one day the serpent came to tempt them,
They failed the test; God's enemy had won.
The serpent came, and man was filled with poison.
Man made a choice; he was cut off from God.
All hope was gone, but still God made a promise:
The woman's seed will crush the serpent's head.
Verse 2
Then came a day, the devil tempted Jesus,
But Jesus passed the test in every way.
He made the choice to live by God the Father.
He's qualified; the Savior paved the way!
Our Savior walked on earth a human vessel,
Yet He lived out the Father's life within.
He truly was the God-man as our pattern.
The Lamb of God, to take away our sin.

Verse 3
Then on the cross they crucified our Savior.
His blood was shed, redeeming us from sin.
And through His death this all-inclusive Savior
Was raised again to live His life in man.
Yes, Jesus came; the tempter's power was broke Yes, Jesus came; He set man free from sin.
No more should we be under condemnation.
We are set free to take God's life again.
Verse 4
So now dear friends call on the name of Jesus. Yes, Jesus came; the way is free and open,
